Hi, everyone!
What's your own art story? I decided to take a brake from
longreads and just to show you my old sketches.
Sketchbook tour. My first flowers sketches.
Flowers were my hook to get back to artists way. Before I found out
this topic, I didn't have a basic idea of what I wanted to do. I drew several
art challenges for different topics. I was definitely successful, I have
even won some prizes. But I thought that I can drawing only on
demand. Somebody gives me a task and I draw that they want. I didn't
have my own ideas. And once I got a reference of a
blooming magnolia in a random account on Instagram. And suddenly I sat
down by my desk and opened sketchbook. Nobody asked me. It was my good will. I
was free to do it or to do not.
Next day I have shared my sketch on Instagram. And while I was writing the
post I realized that I liked the fact. I have drew the flower. It was so soft,
so delicate. I wanted to share what I saw in it. It was my goal, my hook. It
was a wonderful feeling.
So there are a few my very first sketches which brought me to my art
language. Welcome to my flowers sketchbook!
